MLD and Ike should be higher on depth IMO.
Brad Stewart should be starting
Braun graduated
Hoping Anree Saint-Amour is in the mix at DE.
Both Austins at CB should be in the mix.
Don't like our Safety depth at this point. Hope someone slides over from CB, or we land Romeo.

JJ and Nate have been getting a lot of hype from the coaches but I agree that MLD and Ike will play a lot
Philpott has a higher ceiling imo than Stewart but he needs to stay healthy
Parker Braun is who I was referring to
I think Anree will be in the mix along with Desmond Branch potentially

At A-Back this year, we have these young guys with playing time and flashes of greatness:
So: T. Marshall (maybe QB)
RS So:Lynch, Searcy (M. Jordan - probably QB)

And these guys in the wings with hype:
RS Fr: Cottrell
RS Jr: JJ Green

And these guys in the mix:
RS Fr: Omahri Jarrett
RS Fr: Kirvonte Benson (maybe at B-Back)
Fr. X. Gantt, maybe another

We should be fine there if we don't have another slew of injuries.

With all of the depth at AB... Why not move Searcy back to defense to play Safety and have him return kicks and punts like Golden?

Good point. I can't imagine we won't move someone when we have Lynch, MLD, Ike, Searcy, Griffin, TaQuon, McClellan, Jarrett, Green, Cottrell and Gantt pushing for PT. Not to mention QB's that might move, like Jay Jones and Campbell.

I hope you're right about the young guys. I'm more of a "wait till they prove it" kind of guy. So I give the older guys (i.e. guys who have seen the field) the benefit of the doubt to begin the season.
