I have absolutely zero problem with Faulkner being in UGA’s coaching box during the playoffs as long as it doesn’t interfere with his GT duties. We really need to get over this UGA fixation and focus on being in the top half of the ACC at the moment. Until we do this, worrying about UGA is a waste of time.

I have worked for multiple companies who have fired people and escorted them out the door as soon they gave notice they were leaving to go to a competitor.Yes, he was already working at UGA. Dan Lanning did it last year, too. He was DC at UGA while recruiting and hiring his staff at Oregon. Working both jobs is the norm in this situation. Again, the UGA/GT thing makes it awkward, but all aspects of this are very common, including splitting time between both jobs.

I have worked for multiple companies who have fired people and escorted them out the door as soon they gave notice they were leaving to go to a competitor.
When I have switched companies, I have had offer letters that I had signed from my new company. But having a contract agreement or signing an offer letter to begin working at a company at a certain date is not the same as working for two companies at the same time.

We do it all the time. I have probably, on average, 15-20 active litigation matters that I'm involved with. These matters are in varying points of the process. There are many matters that I have been disclosed as a named expert, submitted an expert report (on my company's letterhead), and have provided deposition testimony. The contract is between the law firm and my company. I am only an employee and I have a non-compete clause in my contract. If I go to another firm, there will be an agreement that if the law firm wants to retain me as their expert after I leave, that I will work through my former company as an hourly contract employee, while working for my new company. This is standard practice in the forensic consulting industry.
