Quitting watching a team to protest a "quitter"...
Ironic
I had not considered quitting because back in the day my Father would completely destroy me if I even insinuated I was quitting something I had volunteered to start. This however presents an interesting dilemma.
A disgruntled fan:
a. quits going to games
b. quits watching games
c. quits bitching about games he went to or watched
d. quits buying tickets or donating
Is there a “big quitter” tag you get for more egregious quitting? This kid quit on the game’s last play. To be fair, nobody asked him if he quit earlier in the game so that is possible. However, which one of the above is equivalent to Saturday?
What do we do with fans that have quit? Do we welcome them back when we start winning again or kick them off the fan team forever? Does it matter the level to which they’ve quit? Let’s say they don’t watch 1 game because they played golf instead. Does it matter or is it a cumulative thing?
What do we call the other players that quit during individual plays because they’re tired and loaf, don’t think the ball is coming to them so they stop running, fall down instead of fighting because they’re only going to get an extra yard or two?
Seems like we need to figure this out asap
