After .5 seconds of research, here are 12 Alabama players that have transferred since the 2012 recruiting class. Most are high impact players that if they weren't already on the field for Bama at the time of transfer, they more than likely would be by the end of their Jr/Sr season.

I'm completely wrong, of course. Not at all correct. Enlighten me as to how losing a rusher who averaged 7.0 yards per carry over 180 career carries from arguably the most important offensive position is somehow not backbreaking given the fact that we are not a team that historically reloads.
Fumblitis got him in Coach's doghouse. He certainly improved near the end of the year, but looking at it now, he was using the last few games as an audition for his next step.

MM was a better player than DM right now, but maybe DM has a higher ceiling. However, MM was one of the game breakers we don't get very often.

For whatever reason, CPJ didn't like him that much. Kinda like how Synjyn Days rode the pine behind the legendary David Sims for years. CPJ gets his favorites like everyone else, but sometimes they are headscratchers and sometimes they are brilliant.

CPJ probably didn't like the fumbling issues that MM had. I know DM fumbled a few times but that would be my guess on MM and also not blocking as well as DM

He rarely fumbled in games, though, so that's speculative. It's like once you fumble twice as a freshman, you're done unless you are a CPJ fave. DM has fumbled a bit and Laskey as a frosh had an utterly bone headed Sun Bowl play, but was OK.

Seriously? David Sims averaged 5.2, 4.5, and 5.5 YPC. Laskey averaged 5.2, 5.8, and 5.0. These were mostly Curtis Martin like averages. Not the average 3 yards but burst a 60 yarder every now and then. You act like he had a bunch of bums ahead of him. Just because he stepped up and played great the final half of his senior year doesn't mean he was always better than those in front of him.

Coincidentally, he "stepped up" at the same time that he got any significant playing time during his 5 years here. The other guys were good to very good, but he was great, the kind of game breaker we don't get all the time.

Do you watch the games? Fumbled against Mercer in the second game this year. Duke this year. At least 3 last year. There was an AJC article last spring about him cleaning up ball security.
