I’m sure we’ll find a good replacement. Just hope it doesn’t negatively impact our roster/personnel too much.

Edit: I dunno, just spit balling. Is this something Jess Simpson is ready for/wants to do? Seems energetic and the kids like him. Bring in another DT coach, hopefully with a couple DTs.

At best it’s a lateral move. Defense had a lot of turnover especially on the defensive line. Wonder if he looked at the personnel and figured a regression was likely given the talent lost.
Lateral move? Santucci is 36 years old. (Faulkner is only 43) I have no actual knowledge. But my impression of both of those guys is that they are doing what they think is necessary to become a CFP winning or Super Bowl winning HC. I think they are looking at where they will be in 10 years, and what the decisions they make today will affect the 10 year goal. I don't think they are making career decisions based on what is easiest this Fall.

Santucci may be making a career decision that the Ravens provide more career growth opportunities over the next few years than us.
