We have NEVER EVER worn all Gold, in reply to another post.

Wow, not many of them, although I imagine the scattered dark places throughout the stadium are opposing fans as well. Back when we played them one-and-one, I had to sit in that SCARY upper deck a couple of times, and I don't use the word scary lightly. That upper deck is STEEP.

Just saw that a player re tweeted this, so is it about us the fans? Or about the players? Seems to me some are more worried about what they would like instead of the team they are cheering for.

Here's what I really want to know...where can I buy one of those gold t shirts with the white GT?

If they're serious about this, they should release a shirt for sale of the proper color for relatively cheap. $15 is reasonable. Just release a unique shirt every year with a design on it. Maybe even open it up to the public and have design challenges where fans can submit and vote on the new year's design. Over the years, people can either wear the new shirt or one of the old ones, which will build up the amount of gold in the stadium. After particularly good seasons, you could even get them signed at fan day. I really don't think this would be difficult to set up at all and the athletic department will benefit a lot from riding the #GTGoldout hype.

Question. The Team does not wear Gold Jerseys. They wear White. So why not wear White every game ? It's just interesting to me that everyone says Gold is the main color but it's Never worn by the players or coaches. The coaches always wear Navy blue. I have a pretty good ideal that the team is wearing a gold jersey for Vandy but that won't happen again this year. What I think would look great would be for people to fill the staidly and not sell their tickets to the other teams fans. How about seat in your seats in the club level so our stadium does not look empty on TV. For a Enginerring school GT does some stupid stuff. I think Enginerring and marketing must not mix.

Jordan is my favorite shoe but since I hit my growth spurt and my feet grew to size 15 I can't find any that fit...so I just wear kobe's for everything...walking, running, dress shoes, and basketball. I'm saving up rn to get some gold kobe's to wear to tech games with my gold THWG shirt. Even tho I think we should wear white bc our jerseys are white

Look at LSU, they have the same issue. Their stadium is full of folks wearing Purple, Yellow and white. But its full of yellow, purple and white. I don't think the color of shirt is as important as putting asses in the seats. Its a marketing issue. GT does nothing to promote the games. For instance, how many families are going to return to the spring game next year after not being able to use the restroom for 8 hours while on campus. Its not that hard to do a few little things to promote the sport. Clemson has more billboards around Atlanta than GT does. Im all for everyone wearing Gold, I just think it would be more likely if that was the color of the jerseys. If I'm sounding like I'm a little on edge, I am. Its less than 2 weeks until kickoff... LOL

I'm not saying there isn't much room for improvement but I have seen efforts already this year. An offer for Gwinnett students, but one get one free for a student if I remember correctly...for Clemson, Duke, and Vandy I believe. I'll try to dig it up in order to provide correct details.
