I tend to think the catapult system is a little off.
The number they report would mean we have legitimate world-class athletes. 25pmh is no joke. He would burn past almost every player in college if that's true.

Just giving another example of the speed they added. This is Boyd’s track numbers.

Straight line speed is overrated. That's why I like Mason so much. He bounces off the first tackler, and changes direction in hole so very well. So the recruiting pundits didn't rank him highly because his top gear is limited. So what? He may not score 70 yard TDs that are exciting, but he gets you 5 when you need it.

You say, but we are talking WR. Teams with good DBs will play press coverage. You aren't going to run straight down the field without contact. Not to be critical, but Brown could get behind NC State's coverage. He could not against VT and UGa-- and if he could, the QB would not have time to get him the ball.

Football is a big man's game. Give me the guy who is big and has quickness, then we are talking. Flexible hips takes it to another level. Size plus quicks are what we have been missing, but this staff is getting us there.

Usain Bolt was clocked at 27.8 mph and he runs a 9.6 100m. 25 mph is probably top speed for a 10.5 100m. That’s fast, but not like he’s breaking world records.

But we're talking about a true freshman vs a RS Sophomore. There are nuances of the college game that AB still hasn't adjusted to. And if you wanna see some hip fluidity just watch his TD catch vs Miami
