Excellent article.
I thought this was the most interesting quote in the whole article

“One of those two needs to be a breakout guy,” Pastner said. “I think Moses is either going to be our 12th man-type guy or he’ll be our first, second or third best player. It’s going to be one or the other. It’s not going to be anywhere in between.”

And I think these 2 quotes say alot about where he sees GT heading
“I’m just telling you, the whole thing is 3-point shooting and guard play,” Pastner said.

Tech will be the fastest and most athletic that it has been in Pastner’s three seasons. Pastner played at a slower pace in part to take advantage of Lammers’ ability to pass out of the post.

With the increased speed, Pastner said, “we’ll have to utilize that more and that will include pressing and how we want to play offensively.”

Maybe one of the board mavens can help me with a general question. When can/does the staff begin working with next year's freshmen on strength and conditioning? For example, can they communicate with Kristian Sjolund now and start him on their weight lifting program or do they have to wait until he gets on campus? Curious how that works. Thanks.

Edited to add: how did CGB's surgery go?

An increased pace should help Moses who can rely more on his athleticism. For some reason with Evan I always think Frank Kaminsky who is a player who can one day emulate in terms of his production. Hope to see the team play with a good amount of depth cause if the freshman show that they're good enough to play immediately the term should be very deep and versatile.

I think they can send him a workout regimen once he's signed his LOI & locked in. After that, he'll be in campus by June to start the S&C routine.

They were ranked similarly coming out of high school as well. If he can be anywhere close to as productive as Frank the Tank by the time he's a junior and senior we'll all be happy, that's for sure.

The Virginia Tech women’s lacrosse story is absolutely retarded.

Funny. I'm sure you and your boys up in Maine had similar moments on the badminton (who knew it was badminton, not badmitton?) team bus before there were phones around to capture your .. *ahem* colorful language.

Also funny, I saw the VT women's lacrosse team in the airport a couple weeks ago. They didn't slur me to my face so I guess I got off easy?
