Maybe some of the All Americans can dance on stage with the team before they commit elsewhere
Ok I’m done
Careful. You gonna end up on dtm's list.

What a d*** move manThat's the part that really pissed me off about this recruitment. Seemed like a pretty classless move. The best way I can spin it is the staff was begging him to show up so he just wanted to give them one last chance to change his mind.
With that said, if we can't get a commitment from the guy we put the most time in with who was dancing with the team at a "Midnight Madness" event two days before his announcement date, I don't think we can ever feel confident in securing a commit. That was pretty deceiving.

Has tech at 121. Mentions tech only won 13 games with current NBA player josh o. Does the idiot realize how many games josh missed last year?

I didn't have a problem being ranked this year at 121. Just didn't like the mention that we only won 13 with Josh with no mention of all the games he missed. You are absolutely right in that no ACC school should be losing to Grambling & Wright St at home.Regardless of whether Okogie was playing or not, no ACC schools should be losing to Grambling and Wright State......at home.
121 is legit. This is where we are right now. Try not to let your bias blind what is reality. GT Basketball, in the eyes of everyone in the country who isn’t a GT fan is on the same level as Cal, DePaul, Rutgers and Wazzou. Do we have some nice players? Sure. Do we have a good coaching staff? Absolutely. Facilities? Yup. But the product on the court isn’t there. 13-19 and we lost our 3 best players. Our 3 current best players have 40 combined games of experience.
I’m not trying to bring you to the dark side where I reside, but you have to realize how this program is viewed by people who have zero equity/emotion tied to how we perform.

How come when you tell it like it T-I is, it's ok? But, when I do it, I'm labeled a NegativeNancy?
Apparently you haven’t been paying attention. C62 will be here to give me hell in a minute
That's because you ain't sh*t kg.At least he kinda does it with a smile.
I usually get the, "You ain't sh*t, kg!"

Tech has applied for a waiver for Banks to play right away, but Pastner said Wednesday that there were no updates. The NCAA appears to be taking a more lenient approach in granting waivers to transfers. In the past two weeks, Virginia guard Braxton Key and St. John’s guard Mustapha Heron were granted waivers as they transferred to schools closer to home for family reasons, cases that on the surface do not appear significantly different than Banks’.
Pastner said that Banks runs the floor well, can protect the rim and has improved with his ball skills. At Texas, he averaged 1.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 10.7 minutes in his two seasons. Pastner also likes the way that Banks plays with energy and communicates on the floor.
“He does a lot of things that don’t always show up in the box score,” Pastner said. “You can’t put enough premium on his kind of team leadership.”
Georgia Tech guard Brandon Alston’s first season with the Yellow Jackets was nothing spectacular. Averaging 23.7 minutes per game as a part-time starter, Alston kicked in 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game and shot 37.3 percent from the floor. Alston, a grad transfer from Lehigh, called it unacceptable.
On Wednesday, at the ACC’s Operation Basketball media event, Alston provided at least a partial explanation for his play. Alston said that he played through the season with torn muscles in his stomach, an injury that required surgery at the end of the season.
“It’s just one of those things that, it hinders your athleticism, makes you really uncomfortable,” Alston said.
“I think I’m able to do a lot of the things that my mind has wanted me to do, and it’s just been a lot of fun,” Alston said.
Alston’s progress has altered Pastner’s vision for him this season. Last year, Pastner wanted Alston to be a “3 and D” player, meaning someone who could help space the floor on offense with 3-point shooting and play solid defense. He wasn’t thrilled with Alston’s occasional forays to the basket.
“Brandon’s really improved, because he’s a strong guard,” Pastner said. “He’s done a nice job getting to the hoop and getting fouled.”
“Seeing him getting drafted, knowing how hard he worked, it definitely shows if you work as hard, you’re definitely going to achieve the dream,” Alvarado said Wednesday.
As his sophomore season approaches, Alvarado is trying to follow the work ethic exemplified by his former roommate, who was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 20th pick, in hopes of following him to the NBA. Alvarado said that the experience of living, playing and training alongside Okogie changed his life.
“It definitely caused me to work a lot harder, a lot more,” Alvarado said at the ACC’s Operation Basketball media event.
Prospects for the Jackets are not bright. When the preseason media poll is released Thursday, it would be a surprise if Tech isn’t in the bottom three. Alvarado vowed that he and his teammates “are really going to shock” prognosticators.
“My team is very good,” Alvarado said. “I think their mindset is very focused on the season and I think everybody’s ready to make it happen.”
If that were to come to pass, it would rate a party of its own.
