What ever happened to the good ole' days of playing a bowl in Florida?

For purely selfish reasons, I hope it's a bowl in Florida. That way I can make it a deep sea fishing/GT football trip.

Wake and NC State are BS. Sun Bowl has to take an ACC 2-5 (possibly 2-6 if ACC in CFP). Not a damn chance they end up there. The ACC conference takes part in these selections too.

The Sun Bowl is in the 2-5 or 3-5 selection, not required to take a 2-5 or 3-6 team from the standings.

I'm not sure we're a hot commodity bowl-wise. If we had snuck into the top 25, we could generate intrigue. Since there are 11 bowl-eligible ACC teams, could we sneak into a non-ACC bowl against a quality opponent?

#1 Pinstripe vs. Minnesota, can't remember the last B10 team we played ???
#2 Belk vs. Kentucky, be sweet to go 3-0 vs SEC !!!

• I don't want to us play Houston.

• I don't want us to play Stanford.

• I don't want us to play USF.

I think GT will be a good fit in the Belk after beating UGA as we traveled well to both of the ACC Championship Games in Charlotte. This is where I want to go and believe the Yellow Jackets will show up and Swarm the stadium.

Tech always travels very well after beating the dawgs. After a year off -- we will turn out big for a good bowl.
