FSU will fire their head coach mid season this year. He was almost fired this weekend. That program is in big trouble.

I think the only thing to save Willie Taggart's job for another year is for FSU to go to a Bowl Game.

Can they afford to? I saw somewhere they would have spent like 30 million for 2 years if they fire him after this season. Their finances are better than ours, but I'm not sure they can absorb another big hit

That wasn't just his buyout. FSU paid Oregon >5 million to cover his buyout there and the previous buyout Ore was paying for. The 30 mil over the 2 years was all that cost, plus the salaries and buyout at the end of this season.

I remember when he got the long deal what a horrible contract it was. I was telling my FSU girlfriend if he doesn't work out it will set the program back big time.

FSU might fall back to the levels they were from 1959-1963 and 1973-1976.

I'm upset I won't get to watch the GT game because it isn't on TV for me and it's on the ACCNX which is available to those who have a subscription to the ACCN so they can watch it online, but I don't have that subscription.

I was really excited to see how we played this game.

ehhh I doubt it. too much talent in Florida and the place still recruits itself pretty well. They were like a legitimately low tier conference USA level program back then. Won't fall that far

Most books make you lay 20%, so I’m sure they clean up on these. You’d have to be really good to consistently make money here—similar to props or future.

For games with P5 schools playing FCS, Vegas does this a lot. Most of the time it’s starts as a pickem but they won’t take any bets until Tuesday. Almost like they’re trying to draw interest in the line and dropping it to see if anyone will actually play it.
