Looking at Clemson right now. Their OL is experience laden and has a good inch and 25 pounds on our guys on average. That's the real glaring difference. They have a ton of freaky athletic 6'4" receivers, bigger than all ours (Dolphus hurt?). Otherwise, we actually stack up pretty well on the defensive side. More variability with some lighter guys at DE in particular. The secondary, though, is definitely bigger.

Obviously they are the defending champs and outside of Georgia (Miami?) are going to have the size and depth of athlete the rest of our competition won't. Maybe I'll try and peek at a few peers to see how undersized (or not) we actually are.

Do they really average 325 to 330#?

Just a theory about the Tr-Fr guys ATL. Some of them may be ATL for a total of 4 games and get rotated out depending on who steps up in practice -- a way to motivate the young guys to compete with each other even when we may redshirt some on that list. And some we may already figure are part of the usual rotation throughout the year. Either way, how they play will be what determines who ends up below the line in the next few weeks and who will stay on the chart all season.
