I don't think it will be long until Kennesaw State pulls ahead of Mercer in Attendance especially with how they're winning and they made the FCS Playoffs in 2017 and will again in 2018;)

I wish folks would quit trying to do away with my seats
I am with you, OJF. I love sitting in the upper north because it’s cheaper, doesn’t require a contribution just to buy a ticket, and it’s a great place to watch the TO develop. I say if they’re going to take out 10,000 seats, do it in the seats right behind the visitors bench. Those are usually empty most of the game anyway because the people are sitting inside in the air conditioning or are occupied by people wearing the other teams colors.:bored:

There is nothing quite was fun as watching PJs O coming toward you. All the nuances reveal themselves and you KNOW when a play is going to go!

Just some thoughts on our Season Home avg at Georgia Tech....
1. Fans showed up for Gailey... He avg 50K in seats (was scheduling or excitement around the program from beating Auburn & ND or a little of both)
2. Fans will show up for Johnson..... However the losses in the Peach and the OB in 08/09 really had fans shy away until the 2014 OB win..
-- It is interesting that with Tenn & the Chick-fil-a Kick off game packaged w/season tix GT avg less season tix than after a 3-9 season. whats up with that??
-- It will be interesting to see how many people show up this year (Could this be another 2012 only 43K fans show up)

I think Gaily had the Draw of Calvin Johnson to help him out then, people really did show up just to watch him play.

You might be correct....just look at the fan years since the expansion from 43,179 to 55K....only 6 years (out of 15) of over 50K and only 2 since Coach Johnson has been Coach.... I think we can get 50 per season under CPJ, but we need to be winning 8 plus games a year B2B2B and we have to win the bowl games (I think the Peach Bowl and first OB losses turned people off)... Or we need a draw like Gailey had in Calvin Johnson.

It's actually sorta good to know that other schools don't draw big for their spring games. After all, when you get right down to it, spring games are usually pretty boring. It's the getting together with friends and other fans that make it worthwhile for me. I don't think I ever went to one when I was in school, and that was back in the 60s, and I lived right across the street from the stadium
