Pretty unimpressive list of vacancies this year so far. That can always change, but right now AL is by far the best open position and it is at best a mid tier 2 job. If you assume similar salaries GT is a better job than AL.
Trying to pick the 2nd best open job after that right now is actually hard - maybe Charlotte, maybe DePaul with the right guy.
Depending upon what opens after the NCAA Tourney, there may not be alot of movement by the 'top' mid major types that could move on.
Interesting that TN hasn't opened. Wonder if they are going to try to hang onto Tyndall.
Sort of a win/lose for GT. On the one hand if GT had opened, if it could have offered a competitive salary it would have easily been the best opening of those currently known. On the other hand, if the pool continues to look like this it is more likely that fewer of the 'top' movers actually take another job rather than simply wait another year.
