According to David O'Brien of the Atlantic the Braves and Diamondbacks could be trade partners with OF David Peralta,left handed starter Robbie Ray and right handed starter Zack Grienke all could be fits for the Braves

I believe we have the sentimental attachment to Kimbrell and vice versa. He would have to get totally shut out by other clubs....we offer 1 yr. @17.5 m. & he takes it for the hometown discount.

Atlanta tried to get Peralta and Ray, from the Snakes. They wanted our top 5 prospects and either Albies or Acuna. Too much. They really don’t want to deal either away, particularly Robbie Ray who is a good lefty starter now. Intrenched as a top end guy, for their rotation. They would have to eat 90-95m. on Grienke and it won’t happen because they want our top shelf talent in return. Again our 1,2, and 3, plus Acuna.

If we lose our minds and deal Soroka, Wright, Riley, Anderson, Touki, Pache-we need to get Realmuto, Corbin, Peralta, Haniger, Ray and Edwin Diaz in return. Not plausible, as our talent is unproven at ML level. Although stripping the farm down to get all needs met with proven, controllable assets, might move our G.M. into action. He would still have to move Tehran, Inciarte out to have room on payroll for those 6.

Mike, the Fishies are still too high on Realmuto. Reports have them wanting a budding superstar like Acuna or Albies with 0-3 years of Major League experience, plus two very high level prospects.

In the please don’t trade him department: Rumors have Atlanta willing to deal Christian Pache since we have Inciarte under control. This is a rear “Ender.” Pache is only 19, performed well at Double A ball, already. Has the defensive skills now, and most project him as an eventual five tool, as the bat is on the rise with strength.

I don't think that. I would have loved to have gotten him, but he and Markakis are basically the same player. The only differences are that Markakis is older, but Brantley is extremely injury prone which basically cancels out.
