So I’ll be on the road on Thursday night...does anyone know if I can stream You Tube TV or Hula off the hotel tv or how to?

Recent Hulu switcher here. When you create an account, you set a home zip code. I was unable to log in away from home on roku or smart tv, but it does let you do it from your phone or laptop, and even cast it to a tv.

Yes. We bought the Bristol when I accepted an early out offer. A great boat. The Sea Hunt will go 35 kts. That's fun.

Well done sir! I hope to get there some day. I’m 34 but would love to be retired in 25ish years with a sailboat for my wife and I to multi-day cruise on and a second boat for dragging the grandkids (presuming I get some) in loops on the lakes.

So, I want to cut the cord and go to Hulu dumping Comcast. SWMBO is concerned about losing the various videos we have saved on Comcast.

Anyone have a clue whether there is anyway to save such videos offline from Comcast?

No. Once they are stuck on the Comcast box they’re there till you cancel then gone for forever.

Unfortunately that is true for both recorded content or stuff you bought.

Had a 32 Wellcraft for years when I was single. It was great times on the Great Lakes till gas hit $5.00 a gal on the docks. Then got married (again) and that was the end of the boat.

Having a problem with Spectrum getting ACCN working. Is any hardware other than wifi needed for youtube tv?

It’s amazing how each year it gets more difficult to try and watch GT play on TV. Realize it is due to all the network contracts, but frustrating for the consumer and fan.

Y'all, I just noticed something I hope is a good sign. If you Google Dish and ACC network, it returns a page listing a couple of ACC teams, including Clemson. For the last couple of weeks, if you click Clemson schedule, for channel it indicates something like Dish App or ACC App. But this morning it says Channel TBD. That has to be good, right?

fyi for folks, you can use YouTubeTV outside your 'home' network but only for a limited time. We gave my parents our YouTubeTV login and they were able to use it for about 2 weeks iirc - then it said something like the streaming device (I think my dad's phone) had to be in the account ZIP code to continue (aka, be located where we live). So it's convenient for folks who travel but prevents sharing accounts over long distances.

We had YouTubeTV all last year but are doing the Hulu one-week free trial just to test it out

Apparently for Hulu, you cannot pause and fast forward live TV. ie - if you pause a game, get up to grab a beer or put a pizza in the oven during halftime, when you come back you won't be able to fast forward. You either have to sit through all of the commercials or jump to live (and miss who knows what).

Personally, that's a huge negative for us so we're switching to YouTubeTV once our free trial is over

I think there might be a Settings option to choose the desire to pause and fastforward etc live TV in Hulu.

I guess the lil girl commish just assumed all the cable companies would come clamoring for him.

He is a joke commish - from appearing with uncheats before the NCAA, to not going after better football schools during expansion, to letting notre lame (who will NEVER agree to be a member) take money from us while spitting on us at the same time. Is there ANY conference in America that has a member that isn’t a member besides us?

He has no capability to think outside the box that is beneficial to the ACC. He is a former dumbazz unc jock & ad. Nuff said.

ESPN is sitting in Connecticut laughing their butt off at this rube. We easily make fun about “it just means more” but they are not the ones who don’t have agreements with (as I understand it) the 2 largest cable providers.

He is always a day late and dollar damn short.

Screw the ACCN. Won’t be surprised if this thing doesn’t cost most of the ACC schools more than it brings in.

Having to change from the largest cable provider to some half azzed outfit because the lil girl doesn’t know what she is doing is asinine. A TON of ACC fans - GT fans- are getting screwed.

And changing your cable provider to some company that requires you to hold your cell phone 36 degrees to your computer in your aunts basement at the northwestern corner while standing on your head during the odd numbered quarters and changing the freakin tv channel between 2 digit channel numbers to 3 digit channel numbers at the change of every possession except if the kickoff is between 4:15 and 6:47 mountain time ain’t gonna cut it.
