Duke is an interesting team this year. Allen is the captain but not sure the other guys see him in that role. He doesn't seem to fit with this group. This may be a year where there is not a total dedication to K by these freshmen. They all know it is one year season and then NBA. We need to beat them after that beatdown they gave us last year. I was at Cameron last year and it was embarrassing.

I'm guessing Brownell is looking at a nice extension and raise in the offseason. His contract was extended for one year after last season to run through the 20-21 season. He is being paid $1.9MM this year and the next two years his salary is $2.0MM. When it was extended Clemson reduced the buyout. But given they are 19-4 and would likely be a top 4 seed right now and are highly likely to make the Tourney, i'm expecting they will have to cough up some money and years after the season. With only 3 yrs left on the contract after this season DRad was basically playing a wait and see game this season. Got to imagine he will re-up now.

Yup. I think Brownell is in good shape, even without landing Williamson. I didn't see that coming after last year, but the dude has them playing good ball now, even without Grantham.

I don't think Allen is a leader. That's a full sentence. I also think the Duke frosh are running into other teams scouting them and coming in prepared to take away what they like to do. Duval especially, but Bagley to a degree too. If they adjust, they'll be fine. If not, it's Mercer or VCU all over again

Duke is susceptible to a guard going off on them. Perimeter defense is average at best. And probably why Allen will drop in NBA stock when that time comes. Along with the fact he isn't scoring this year like before.

Brendan Haywood, of UNC fame, is a host on NBARadio. His radio partner asked him to guess the number of guys who had x number of assists or w/e.

Haywood's guess was '6'. Host said, "Go lower".

Haywood's answer .... 7!

And HOW many points do you get for a three point shot again?

46 pts on only 23 shots. That is incredible. He's avg over 20 ppg shooting 50% FG, 47% 3FG and 85% FT. In ACC games over 25 ppg 57% FG, 52% 3FG and 88% FT. There is not way he should not be 1st team and he ought to get serious consideration for PoY in the ACC.
To think GT held him to 19.
Also, congrats to ND for breaking their 7 game losing streak. They have been decimated by injuries. That was a team that looked like a potential Top 4 seed before the injuries set in.
