Something is up with Nwora. Didn't start today. Took five shots. 5 points, 4 turnovers and 4 fouls. If he plays like he did against us (thanks in large part to Jose's D) and today, Louisville is toast.

He played but didn't start. Announcer said Mack was trying to send a message they need more out of him. I guess he knew what was going on. Regardless Nwora is in one hell of a funk

Duke looks like they are in the driver seat to win a regular season acc for the first time since 2010, with maybe their worst team in a decade. Kind of shows where the acc is this year.

I usually don’t pay too much attention to the mock drafts this early. Josh okogie was projected to be late 2nd around this time.

I went to the Duke game yesterday. If they keep playing like that they will be the team to beat in the tourney. Duke is deep except no true center behind Carey. Crowd went nuts when they saw Zion at the game. Durham and Muney very good players but duke shut down their guards. IMO Tre Jones is the best all around player in the ACC this year. Great defense and he can score. ND had a lot of shots on the rim that went in and out. More than usual I suspect. Duke now looks like the team to beat. They looked like a 1 seed yesterday.

Hughes is a late bloomer, and it might be too late by NBA standards. He'll be 22 when the draft rolls around. I'm not good at projecting NBA potential, but I do see a more athletic and versatile SF in Hughes than Nwora as of now.

Virginia is living right. The last 5 games they've won have all been by less than 5 points, including 3 by 2 points or less.

Louisville has 2 straight bad losses - to us (#82) and Clemson (#72). Yet their KenPom is still at #12 nationally. Huh? Meanwhile, we didn't move up an inch and are still at #82. Huh?

The ACC only has 3 teams inside the top 50. But we have 12 teams playing > 0.500 ball overall. Would be pretty funny if we get like 8 or 9 teams into the NIT.

Our remaining 6 games are against (KenPom):
1) #97 Wake Forest
2) #55 Syracuse
3) #72 Clemson
4) #105 Miami
5) #98 Pittsburgh
6) #72 Clemson

If we go 4-2, we'll finish 10-10 in the ACC, 16-15 overall, guaranteeing us an overall finish of 0.500 or better.

We haven't finished at 0.500 in ACC or better in 13 years.

If we finish 5-1, we'd finish 11-9, a feat we haven't matched since going 9-7 16 years ago, the year we made it to the finals of the NCAAT.

16-14/11-9 probably gets us a Wednesday game in the ACCT. In that scenario we’d probably have to make it to Saturday’s final to be a Dayton/play in game type. Unfortunately, Uga Arkansas and Ball St are the ones that really hurt us. It sucks that we couldn’t take advantage of one of the worst seasons in the league as a whole in a long time.
