Almost every media outlet is banking on us losing to Thug U. I would love nothing more, than to feed the media a big ol' crap burger and whip on some Hurricane azz.. I think we can beat almost everyone on the schedule, minus Clemson, if we can shore up the turnovers. And heck.... If we play perfect, we can beat Clemson.

Still one of my favorite replays. Randy Shannon was shell-shocked. Marve throws a pick six to Michael Johnson, Dwyer trucks a couple of Canes. Lucas Cox goes to the house untouched. We started the game with a couple of passes to Bae Bae wide out along the line of scrimmage. Two yards, four yards. Miami adjusted leaving the middle under-protected. I think Bob Davie was the color man, kept saying "an absolute clinic" on the triple option.

The option offense could not be run any better than GT ran it that night against Miami!

Yeah. I still can't believe they were able to pull Venables from OU. Dude can coach, and it doesn't seem like he wants to leave for a HC job any time soon (and why would he...would have to take a pay cut to HC a G5 school).

Didn't he only leave OU because he was scapegoated for Stoops to hire his brother?

I think Venables will be a major candidate for the Tennessee head coaching job.

UT is a much better job than K-State GT should have hired Snyder in 1992 instead of Bill Lewis

Yeah I agree with you,THWG I don't think Scott Satterfield is ready for a big program like Tennessee yet however some school will talk to him in December and it could be Ole Miss.

Not so sure the Snyder recruiting blue print would produce similar results at a place like GT. With that said, pretty positive it would have been better than what we did.
