Tech's current roster rates 45th in talent (up from 50th in 2018), not as bad as you might think. 10th in the ACC between Duke and VA. Interestingly, 1 loss Utah is #47, 2 loss Minnesota is 46th. talent isn't everything
Our highest rated players are mostly Freshmen or Transfers. Our (11) outgoing seniors average a rating of .8356. Our incoming 22 commits average .8645. For perspective, Wake comes in at #66 with a team average of .8366, VT is at #29 with a team average .8646. Don't know who else will leave, but basically we're on pace to wind up with a team talent rating next year in the low 30s, 6th or 7th in the ACC. A couple more classes like 2020 is looking and we could be 4th or 5th in the ACC comparable with UNC and VT, behind Miami, FSU and Clemson.
