Miami has looked to me like a flashy team that struggles to run the ball, although they run for I think 196 yards/game which isn’t bad, but 40th ranked, not great. At some point not controlling the ball on the ground catches up with you, but we’ll see.

Only if you run into a team that can a) shut down the pass, b) get to the QB, or c) control the ball and limit possessions. We do not do a or b real well. Unless that changes, I suspect we’ll have to rely on c.

They do actually travel and stay in a hotel away from campus, but you knew that and that I was having fun with the wording.

You're correct of course, but it reminded me of some FSU fans who didn't think it was fair that they had to travel so far, and used it as an excuse.

This Ohio State/Oregon game has to be the least I've ever cared about a 2/3 matchup. Part geograph/regionality, and part that it doesn't seem that important anymore in the playoff world.

I'm coming around that way for our Cuse loss. I don't feel any better about it. But, it looks less damning as time passes.
