If you are going by current standings, you left off Louisville.

Our losses are to the current 5th and 6th teams. In games yet to be played, we only have to play the 2nd in the regular season. We still have a shot at the Championship, but at 2 losses already, it's a long one.
Just going by the ACC standings On their website.

I keep saying that I've been watching Army football a lot recently (when Tech isn't playing in the same time slot). Here's why. Watch Bryson Daily in this, especially his first TD:

The guy is almost impossible to stop. Admittedly UAB is not very good, but Army could very easily end up in the playoffs as AAC champ if they beat Navy. Same for Navy too; all both teams have left in the schedule in the way of good teams are each other and ND. Btw, I wouldn't change places with the head guy t ND for any amount of money.

42-21 final. VT is a good football team dispute popular Swarm opinion.
I’d call them decent, but that’s being picky on my part. Their talent is similar too (although maybe just a tick below) ours. I’d call us somewhere between decent and good…not clear yet which category we’ll wind up in. (If we pull off an upset out of UGa, ND, or Miami, I’d call us good….if not, we’ll just be decent also).

Nevertheless, I think that’s an L for us when we visit there. They’re due to beat us at their place, and we’re due for a let-down game at some point in this late stretch against VERY good teams, so it’ll be tough for us.

Doesn’t mean they’re good (yet).

Games to watch this weekend:

#2Oregon @ Purdue > B1G teams traveling 2+ time zones are performing terribly
Nebraska @ #16Indiana > Are either of these teams this good? One loss between them.
#24Michigan @ #22Illinois > Why is Michigan favored in this game?

#7Alabama @ #11Tennessee > Is this a must win game for both teams? Maybe. Especially if ND wins.
#8LSU @ Arkansas > LSU really needs this win.
#5uga @ #1Texas > If uga gets blown out this could be a big deal for the CFP. Otherwise, not so much.

#6Miami @ Louisville > Miami looks vulnerable, but they keep winning.
#12Notre Dame @ GT > ND is out of the CFP if they lose here. I like GT if King can play effectively.

Hang onto the ball, stop the run, and force Drones to air it out. That's how you beat VT.

I know, I know, but if Castellanos wasn't a walking turnover machine last night that game looks very different.

Stopping the Run will be a challenge. Their RB, Tuten it the #3 rusher in the Country in yards per game at 125/game and he averages 7 yards per carry. That will be a big test for the defense,

Thanks for lining this up nicely for us. It feels like a really important week that will separate wheat from chaff.

Would be curious how you or others handicap these games. For instance, I think Texas is a much better team than Georgia but Georgia might have learned some lessons from their loss to Alabama and their other close games.

Oregon looks primed for an upset after an emotional win over Ohio State.

Several of the others are so critical for the playoffs. Will we get clarity or will there continue to be just enough chaos to keep things cloudy?
