Well played sir!VPI still cannot defend it.

Bingo. They lost most of their WR room from last year and those guys were pretty good. As I said earlier, their replacements have two problems: they can't get open and they can't catch if by chance they do. Makes it hard for a QB who needs to throw the ball downfield to thrive.Their WR dropped a bunch of good passes. That’s pure and simple lack of concentration.
DJU was not good but that makes him appear even worse. They had a couple of TD passes dropped that would have made a huge difference in this game.
Joe was smart enough to send his assistant offensive coaches down to Texas after the 2004 season and learn the spread offense and it definitely paid off. Sometimes you have to change or you’ll get left behind.JoePa saw some ugly years at Penn State but turned it around again.
Wasn’t sure where to put this but still thinking about the half time of the BC / FSU game. They interviewed the QB for Southern Cal to talk about his win over LSU. He was humble and down to earth but went out of his way to praise USC as an academic institution and offered his appreciation of the faculty. Really impressed that he volunteered that. That was an important selling point for him about the school and he is enjoying the academic atmosphere immensely.
Was thinking about how Tech used to get recruits from all over the country because it’s a special school. It’s was Vince Dooley at Georgia who started the negative recruiting trend of using good academics against a school. Wouldn’t it be refreshing if we’ve come full circle on that and good academics becomes a recruiting advantage again!
Love it !If you saw the post game interview with BC's QB, they asked how he was going to celebrate (or something like that) and his response was "This is Boston College, we got to go to class the next day!" To which everyone laughed and admired his response.
A lot of the negative recruiting against academics is messaging. GT just needs to teach our SAs how to respond when we get questions about "tough academics".
Media: "GT is a tough place to play football given how hard academics is? How do you juggle the demands of your sport and school?"
GT SA: "It's not difficult. GT academics is a lot like being good at your sport. The best of the best have self drive to work hard to become the best at what they do. At GT, 1 in 4 graduates is a millionaire...and that only happens if you're willing to put in the work. That's the payoff...GT teaches us to be the best on AND off the field, and the sacrifice we make on the field and off the field has real world tangible results backed by data. GT gives us every resource to be the best we can be on and off the field. So, is GT tough to play sports and do school? Only if you don't have the drive to be successful."
This needs to be an NIL shirt immediately.Love it !
“Georgia Tech -losers need not apply.”
Wish we would have had that motto before TFG applied.Love it !

There are GT alums making $40k a year? Retired folks, mothers with part time gigs, etc????The odds of a GT alum being involuntarily stuck making $40-50k-ish forever has to be minimal.
Semi-retired. It’s pretty common really. There are GT alums making $40k a year? Retired folks, mothers with part time gigs, etc????
Y is down to their 4th running back. Injuries are eating them up.SMU 12-7. Y players better get it in gear otherwise most of them are heading home to 4-5 pissed off wives. That can't be pretty.
They’re playing at their soccer/lacrosse stadium for the next 2 years…. While they build a new football stadiumdook is playing NW. I thought our field looked like crap. That NW rug looks like it's 3 decades old. Looks like they ran out of paint when they tried to cover up the girls field hockey markings.
You have until 10/5 to unjinx this. I hope you conserved enough counter jinxter hexter mojo to overcome such blatant scoffing at "how it works"Duke has a punt blocked after an awful offensive series, NW proceeds to not score from the 9 yard line missing a short FG. Duke gets the ball back and shortly after that throws an interception on an awful throw. Then NW fumbles on a routine run up the middle. This is comically bad football.
Sounds entertaining though.Duke has a punt blocked after an awful offensive series, NW proceeds to not score from the 9 yard line missing a short FG.
