LOL WOW. Trade their asses.
I’m not sure if a 10-5 guy like Zim. can be dealt without permission, although I have no idea of what his contract(guessing one year without looking it up?)language is?
I know Fred loves his loyalty and heart. I’ll allow him to comment.

Ross needs to have his head examined. Or in the least, his air intake up the nose into the brain. Coronageddon strikes again!

I'll take their place for a grand a game. I can still turn on the heater, and only 61 in August.

Zim will have to re-sign to play in 2021. After this past season, he signed a 1 year deal after telling the whole world (& before getting a contract) he'd either sign with Nats or work on his golf game. Yep... I love the guy. Too many reasons to go into here. His stated reason for opting out... he has 3 little girls (including a newborn) & a high risk mother. Like the Nats, I respect his decision. I would hope.... looking ahead to 2021 .... they can find a way to "end" his career in a way he would like... and deserves.

As for Joe Ross... no info on why he's opting out. But of note... his father is a doctor & mother a nurse.

@Buzzbomb... I just tried to DM you. It won't let me. For now... I assume you have settings preventing it? Otherwise... maybe I'm doing something wrong. No big deal.
I’m sorry, wish I could block the jerk by himself from DM’s. Ignore button won’t work for those and he never stops, even when I don’t DM back. This way my day goes better.

On The Hive, Go Jackets, my handle is kjmc15 for any messages.

> at least Freddie will be ready for the start(maybe its not bad timing after all) as long as he has enough practice time.
Freddie Freeman among four Braves to test positive for COVID-19
Braves manager Brian Snitker announced Saturday that the team had four players test positive for COVID-19: first baseman Freddie Freeman, left-hander Will Smith, right-hander Touki Toussaint and utilityman Pete Kozma.Smith and Toussaint are asymptomatic. Freeman and Kozma have fevers, but Kozma is feeling better, according to Snitker. https://www.ajc.com/sports/baseball...st-positive-for-covid/oIeYtKsUjXzTUYaEvxaZmK/

Freddie Freeman has symptomatic Covid-19.

As a Mets fan, hoping for a quick and complete recovery for Freddie and the rest of the players diagnosed. Freddie is the closest player to a Mets killer that the Braves have had since Larry "Chipper" Jones. A great talent and class act from what I have heard. Baseball is much better with players like Freddie playing. We also don't know what the long term implications of getting this virus could be, so I hope he (and all players diagnosed) recover fully and have no long term implications on their career or life.
