They could bring in replacements for during the period players/managers have the virus, but they wouldn't be able to replace them fast enough to not miss any games. If a replacement is necessary, they would have to be tested and it would take a day to get the results back. That roster spot would probably be vacant for 1 or 2 games. They could probably play that way with 1 or 2 players testing positive. If the number gets to 6, or especially 19 it would become very difficult.

If that’s what it takes. These guys are running businesses. This isn’t some government welfare program. Let your players have loose rules & get out of control & pay the price. They’re big boys and if they felt some pain maybe they wouldn’t act so irresponsibly.

Still don’t understand why we don’t get a power closer that can throw 98-101. I love Greene’s overall demeanor, another impressive showing from him. He’s by far the best overall arm in our pen. Melancon is serviceable but we need a power closer.

Dear Acuna: the helmet is bothering me. Figure it tf out.

Man our pitching is really frustrating the Mets!! 33 runners left ISP and only 1 of those crossed the plate. Wow!!! And also where is Cespedis??????? Hope he's okay 🙏

Yes, he claims he has bolted for the season. Locker cleaned out, hotel room emptied. Sitting out the rest of the games. Heard his strikeout rate was horrible, like 50% of the AB’s? He gets paid either way?

Pretty sure he gets paid no matter what .... which is why he put up the deuces without telling anybody.
