Would have been nice if Wake could have hung on against NCST. We would have had an excellent chance of advancing (assuming we win today) against them. Gotta credit NCST though, as they scored 4 in T9 tontake a one run lead. Basically Wake would have won it if the kid at second had been able to get an infield chopper out of his glove and get the out at first. Then in B9 they get a lead off double to put the tying run on second w nobody out & cant get him in.

So how long do you leave in Thomas before you yank him? You can actually lose a game in the first inning. So as sad as it is to say that, you could save him for another day if you yank him prior to 20 pitches. If you wait until its 6-0, you may never be able to come back. That was (in my opinion) one of CDHs flaws in previous years - he'd wait until games were basically over before pulling pitchers.

Check this out for Thomas' work in T2 - both in pitch count and in strike percentage. I particularly like the "FFS" batter.

Team looked unrecognizable the first few innings. CT struggling and batters swinging away early in at bats. Team has settled in the last two innings though. CT still at a reasonable pitch count to get to the 7th/8th.

CDH back to his bunting ways. And it’s predictably killing innings. How can a guy that’s so respected be so god damn stupid.

Amazing! A few feet short of a home run on a huge wall but enough to get the runner on second home. WTG Jackets!
