How well known is the Clint Castleberry story? I don't recall hearing it when I was at Tech. But I was married with 2 kids and studying EE so didn't do much outside of the Library and football Saturdays.
Very well known. Do not know if they still do it or not but when the Peach Bowl first got started they used to give a Clint Castleberry award each year for the most outstanding offensive player of the game. The official program usually had a full article on Castelberry.

Castleberry was famous for being near unstoppable running the ball. He was also tremendous on defense too. That gets overlooked a bit.
