Has anyone counted how many players we have on roster who have played quarterback at sometime in their career? And do we have more players like this than most schools? Not complaining, usually means they are good athletes.

Good athletes played QB in high school, great athletes also punted.

As punter, averaged nearly 39 yards per attempt ... .

I remember no picks due to poorly thrown balls...poor decisions? Maybe. But most I recall came from our guys making a break on a ball to get the pick. Couple came from tips. But our guys did a good job reading the play and getting in the right spot to make a play most times. Most of our fumble recoveries cane from forced fumbles also.

Gives me hope for this year. Our guys have ball hawked. We may not get as many TO as last year but I think we will be in positive territory.

Agree with our guys going after the turnovers. I do believe two interceptions in the VT game (one by C Griffin-overthrown and one by PJ Davis-thrown up for grabs) were poorly thrown balls.

If you read Goldens profile from last year. It reads like he finally hit his stride again towards the end of the year.
If so, that bodes well for this season
