players are coming and going, coaches that many said, at a minimum, had to be changed are being changed.
once the dust on this and the recruiting class settles, will some of you feel like you can spare us 55 posts a day on how badly you hate the coach, and how things are awful?
I still don't...
Finally. Having to carry youtube TV for 65/mo, plus the 300/mo comcast bill is unwieldy.
Wouldn't that mean more money to the schools also, since comcast is a big outlet?
Good points. I haven't watched an NFL game in 10 years, so I would have no idea what he or hasn't done. It seems like there should be some good things, and I think your #1 above is a good point.
It would also seem that an NFL OC would be attractive to recruits, if he can translate creativity...
this is easy. Option Kings and his band of disciples showed up (FTR - I liked PJ). Some people loved him from the word go, some hated him, and some new folks came around just because they loved option football.
Those same divisions exist now.
The ridiculous amount of teeth gnashing, both...
Quinlan referred to it in a tweet (something like he understood Thacker would be LB coach), then Collins' letter said new leadership was needed on both sides of the ball.
I wonder if that means he has sole input on the hire, or he is getting help from tstan or whoever to vet the candidates? I also wonder if they have some in mind already.
This can't have been a surprise to anyone. I would imagine this has to have been in the works for 4-6 weeks.
where does this stuff come from that says collins was overriding thacker during games? I think I saw it on one post here as a potential explanation as to why our secondary looked so confused all of the time. has that come from anywhere real?
not necessarily the case.
we have players. if we get decent coord's, and collins sticks to what he's best at (probably gonna require some outside influence to help him figure that out), and leaves the coords to do their things, there is significant chance of improvement, and sticking around...
is this thread productive? does it help the program? or, is it witching and wailing that is detrimental to the program?
you have recruits parents commenting in other threads, and this idiocy continues.
everyone gets it - what's the point of this thread? makes you feel better to be miserable...
AGREE!
Been saying that, but mods could care less.
This thread has been stupid for a very long time. Why it is allowed to continue I could not guess.
Maybe they agree with all of this, but try to look like bystanders.
apologies for calling a guy stupid. "fans" are openly rooting for our team to fail while the season is in progress, then rooting for our best players to leave the program, and any other number of calamities to befall us.
that's after 235 pages of character assassination, clothing comments, and...
just go ahead and openly root for it because you think it helps hasten cgc's departure. you and a few others here go ahead and get your pompoms out, and post about it maybe 15 or 20 times a day. go in his twitter, and ask him about it too, many times a day.
might as well go all in.
it's amazing how many people don't understand this. wanting cgc or tstan to trash the team, in season, is idiocy.
the only thing you can do is move on. I coached travel college-prep softball. If we had a bad day, we'd look at what went wrong, work on it in practice, and go back out...
