I am in Jasper County, Jackson Lake, and at 8:00 AM sleet on the ground and trees are already heavy with ice. And we have 24 hours of freezing rain ahead of us with wind at 15 mph. Not sure there will be a single white pine standing Thursday at noon.
FWIW his high school coach, Al Hughes, says Custis is faster than Tashard Choice. He coached both at Lovejoy High.

Going through the NFL combine bios and this is a real college major: Community Recreation, Sport & Camp Management
OK you GT people. You want to be a top 10 program, the above tweet is a clue. Almost as good as the old Clemson major "Playground Design".
Thanks for the Telegraph article ATL.
Interesting quote from Fritz: "
“The biggest difference in our recruiting and what they did here before is in the offensive linemen,” Fritz said. “In the past, movement was the big thing for them: Guys had to be able to move and have quickness to climb to...
I believe redmule is preaching the gospel.
As I have noted on another thread there is a reason the guys coming out of high school with the single goal of the NFL just plain shun Georgia Tech.
This is one of the big reasons why. Especially in Georgia.
Take a look at the undergraduate majors at...
I wanted Brad Stevens. Realize GT probably did not have the money. But I would have made him say no.
But here is the thing, to get a top quality, high name recognition coach may take a lot of money. I am talking a coach that will attract top 50 players to play for him as supposed to playing...
Thanks Buzz. Why I have not looked there previously is a mystery.
Looking at conference games only GT was 5th in scoring at 31.1 pts per game and was 5th in defense giving up 23.2 pts per game.
Only FSU, Clemson and GT were in the top 5 in both categories.
Interesting note on attendance: GT...
The problem JT had last season, that he must solve before next season, is ball security. He carries the ball like it is a loaf of bread. That must stop or he will not play.
Just for the record:
"ATLANTA - All senior Tyaunna Marshall needed to do was to hit two free throws.
With 4.3 seconds on the clock and the Georgia Tech women's basketball team only up by one, 92-91, against #13/11 North Carolina, the game changing moment rested on the senior's shoulders. But...
Pretty well got it nailed.
Here are the Rivals recruiting rankings averaged for the 7 years of CPJ's years at GT. These are the 8 teams GT plays every year.
UGA 9, Miami 16, Clem 17, VT 24, NC 28, UVa 40, Pitt 42, GT 53, and Duke 63.
From 2008 - 2014 - the ACC recruiting classes national rank, - per Rivals - averaged for the period - show FSU at #6 - UM at #16.- CU at #17 - VT at #24 and GT at #53.
Won - Loss records, conference games only for the same period have FSU at 35-13, VT at 35-13, CU at 34-14 GT at 31-17, and...
GT used the TE position on occasion last season. I recall Waller and maybe an AB lining up there primarily as a blocker in short yardage situations.
The concept is not foreign to the offense.
We just played two conference road games with two starters out and only two scholarship subs. Result, one win and one loss. In September you would take that scenario in a heart beat. So would every coach in the country.
