he surpasses the total number of passes that GT has thrown in the past decade? I think this will be something that the commentators pick up on will discuss through the first few games until the number is surpassed. Or at least I think they will talk about how much more GT's new offense is...
Wonder if Elliott being a minority HC at GT in a urban setting would give us a advantage on the recruiting trail. Perhaps it would offer a unique in with some of the recruits families/trust level? Just curious and not race baiting anyone just a honest question.
Maybe TS can talk Calvin into coming back into the fold and being a recruiter for some in home visits on our top targets. Also maybe we could scoop up Justin Fields when he announces that he's transferring from UGA post bowl game.
If GT indeed ends up offering Whissenhunt who will he bring in to fill out his staff? Who will he put in charge of recruiting? Who are his contacts and are they currently within the college coaching network or will he be pulling others from the NFL? I also wonder what Whissenhunts time line for...
I really don't know much about the man either. I wonder what his "innovative" pitch to Stansbury was? Why are the big money donors all in favor of him? Is there money committed to building a recruiting network with expanded paid staff roles? Who leads the recruiting office? Does Woody get to stay?
Blows my mind that Todd Stansbury would hire the candidate that 3% of the polled posters on here actually support. I recognize that it's a very limited sample but if you thought that CPJ's offense/personality was polarizing then this adjustment to Wisenhunt wouldn't be a walk in the park either...
If GT hires Whiz I would love to have the initial uncensored remarks of CPJ. Then I would like to have a live cam feed inside of CPJ's man cave as he watches the season unfold. Do you think he will watch our games or just attend the opera instead?
In reality I hope someone on here or a few...
I wonder if Woody is on Satterfield's speed dial for his DC at Louisville ! If we hope to keep Woody during this HC process then I hope that he's in the loop!
So how many of the current "committed" recruits for 2019 are poached by opposing programs now that CPJ is retiring? I wonder what the protocol on the recruiting staff is at this point? How long can GT allow the HC search to go on before we see a negative impact on the early signing period. Heck...
Yes I too hope we are able to retain Woody and whoever he wants to keep on his defensive staff. I feel for him and the defensive players who have invested in learning new playbook this year and feel like they're just catching on. Now all of it is up in the air. Imagine how the players feel who...
Well boys. Cheers I have had a few tonight and none tasted better than the W CPJ AND WOODY threw down o richt. Here's to The memories and may the W's keep rolling our way. Next up UVA then that nasty vet school in Athens. Here's to 2 more W's let's save the worst *** kicking for smart ***...
I am greatly enjoying the comments/suggestions on this thread. Keep it up men I am taking notes! I will be expanding my bourbon shopping list or trying a few here/there when I find them! GO JACKETS!
I am on watch now for Pappy to hit my area. Some of these items are getting more and more difficult to find. Plus being able to rationalize the price of it once you see it on the shelf. Lol
I was making my weekend plans ahead of time and wanted to know which bourbon goes best with a Miami defeat?
Pappy Van Winkle 15 year
Blanton
Elmer T Lee
Angel's Envy
Any other favorites out there? Anyone got some good recommendations?
I would really feel bad for Woody if something occurs with CPJ stepping down or whatever would/could cause a transition in the short term and possibly leave Woody without a DC position at GT. I was at the Duke game on Saturday and I got fired up about the progress of the defense as the game went...
