UNC not out of woods yet with NCAA

This. Just like with Auburn, Ohio State, Miami, and all of the other "big" programs, the NCAA doesn't really want to do anything. If the News and Observer doesn't stop pushing the issue on this, they're going to end up making the NCAA mad and GT may end up on probation again. :bear:

Really nice articles. Thank you very much for posting those. I had never seen them before this.

    Passing Game Question

As a general rule, I agree with you. However, I contend that not only is a passing game an acquired skill by all 11 players, but passing the ball (even if you don't complete it but your WR gets behind the secondary) will just further open up the running game.

    Passing Game Question

That's a Catch-22. I've never seen a team get better at passing without actually throwing passes in a game. If we continue to propagate the argument that we "will throw more when we can complete more", I fear we shall never pass more.

    Passing Game Question

I can answer that. Because teams like Miami, VT, and UGA will stack the box and dare us to throw on them. Having averaged 12 passes per game, we will be inefficient at doing so, and we will fail miserably most of the time when we try and do it. I don't think any of us are advocating throwing...

Anyone know of free parking on game days

Re: Anyone know of free parking on game days I don't know the address but it's the Methodist Church about a block and a half north of AMC on 14th. I think I posted 10th before, but that's wrong...it's 14th street. You can't miss it.

Anyone know of free parking on game days

Re: Anyone know of free parking on game days The church on 10th Street has a parking lot behind it that is $10. I've been able to park there within an hour of the game before (back when I didn't just buy parking passes).

    Freshmen Reporting

It's Custis but it's nothing to worry much about.  It's a minor clearinghouse issue but one of the coaches told me they weren't worried and they expect him to be there well before they start fall practice.

Anyone know when tickets are cheapest?

Re: Anyone know when tickets are cheapest? 30 minutes after kick-off is the cheapest time to buy.

why does tech tolerate a flagship station like 790 the zone? when is the contract up?

Good post. +1 I have no problem with 790. If we want to dominate talk on the radio station, a) start winning b) start listening & calling in. They're a business...if you do those things, people will talk about you and want to hear talk about you.

Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate moved to the start of the season to help even out depth and attrition issu

I'm not sure how losing at the beginning of the season makes the season any worse than losing at the end of the season? That argument seems quite a bit of a stretch.

A story from when Bohannon was at Tech

Nothing to do with practices, but I met Coach Bohannon in the deli at Publix in Woodstock a few weeks ago. I had no idea he lived in Woodstock but he was in there with his 2 sons who both had on baseball jerseys. His sons are younger boys, whereas mine are 16 and 19, so I introduced my two...

Rumblings on TOS that Jeff Greene is returning to team

I disagree. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing and doing well there for them.
