I think Attaochu is probably his best recruit. He came via Groh but he is still a CPJ recruit.
Not to take anything away from Gotsis though because I like the kid. He's a baller.
I agree and I think we get to see very soon. I'm of the opinion that Vad will leave the program to go play elsewhere. If he does, we will get to see if the issue of throwing off the back foot so often was truly just a Vad issue or whether it was more of a function of the system we run.
I don't take offense and I'll gladly explain my statement about "post of the year".
First, I thought he hit several important points head on:
1) People like to associate with winners and UGA beats us consistently. In fact, they've done so since the Dooley era. And nowhere is peer pressure...
Then take Vad out of the equation and think about it with a new QB. Boomer is right. If we were to go to a shotgun-oriented spread similar to what Auburn runs, the personnel requirements aren't that much different from what we have. We wouldn't need as many A-backs, so we would have to...
OldJacketFan and LibertyTurns,
I don't think people are really saying they want to be Stanford. Rather, they're doing what engineers are trained to do. They see an issue...they try & identify the problems and then correct those problems.
So when people say that we are hamstrung because of our...
I don't know if they beat us with him or not, but I think the mere fact that they've won 10 games with him and are steamrolling #21 A&M at halftime with him sure does make it an interesting question to ponder.
It's 28-17 as I write this. Duke is definitely showing up better than I expected.
I'll say this....it's a dang good thing Boone wasn't available when we played them or the result might have been different. The kid is good.
That is true unless they sign one of the new non-binding LOI's prior to their senior year. It just started this year and UGA, Alabama, LSU and several others are already using it. It allows the school/coaches to talk about the players publicly as well as have no limits on the amount of contact...
The problem isn't Bobinski. The problem is the school president. So far, he has caved to every argument on the side of academia over athletics since he has been with Tech.
And, for the record, Radakovich DID initially try to go that route and the president of the school not only shot him down...
