Please consider going to the Clemson game!

My wife and I have been @ Miami, NC St, Duke, VT, UVA, Clemson, UNC, Vandy, USF, Tulane, & Wake and never had any problems.

    GT vs Pitt Postgame

The problem with this is that the players that think they can get to the next level are winning games for USF, Duke, VT, etc al. Recruiting players that don't think they can get to the next level, or not interested in the next level, does not lead to winning football games. The Ivy League is...

    GT vs Pitt Postgame

I don't agree. It seems nearly unanimous that people feel current degree requirements should be unchanged. They suggest adding a new major (or two) to provide more choices for SA's. We know the BOR won't help us there. So? My thoughts: 1- an earlier poster made a good point about HS players...

I see what you did there! :)

    USF/Raymond James Roll Call

I will be there with my wife. Looking forward to a road win!

The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

I think we will see home game attendance decline across all of FBS due to TV controlling the schedule and length of the game. Look at bowl games where fan attendance is not important. Money is made from TV advertising, not ticket sales. The quality of the at-home experience conflicts with an...

The most disappointing stat from yesterday was...attendance.

Keep in mind that those numbers are for tickets sold and may even include workers, security, etc. They do NOT reflect butts in seats. A recent study by the WSJ (https://www.wsj.com/articles/college-footballs-growing-problem-empty-seats-1535634001) explains further. I suspect many tickets to...

    Under 150 total yards

The D benefitted from at least three poor throws to a wide open WR. Our run defense looked pretty good. Only 1 sack that I can remember which is disappointing.

    Marshall looks worse...

TM looked no different from last year, to me. Throws too high. He was more effective with short routes. Meh.

    Declining Game Attendance

And which generation is it that are accountable for these millennial behaviors? I am a baby boomer. We went to watch Atlanta United play last night in Orlando. The fans sang the entire game and had a great time. They are analogous to our student section/swarm. The difference is when AU FC is...

In all fairness, our coach has developed a tendency for the same random fails.

1-M Burnett recruited by CCG 2-D Morgan recruited by CCG 3-B Watts drafted 223rd, 7th round, now a F/A 4-J Thomas drafted 6th round, not in the NFL currently 5-J Attouchu is legit 6-DJ White drafted 6th round. Made it to the NFL but hardly a poster child for what GT did for him. 7-A Gotsis is...

Agree with you. For the most part this year we looked incompetent in the passing game. Any success was due to luck (equivalent of a Hail Mary on 70% of pass attempts. I am not laying this at TQM's feet. CPJ gets 90% of the blame.

Throwing the "bs" flag on this. We run option all Spring and the first 2 weeks of fall camp. No defensive player with a goal of playing in the NFL can get the reps they need to improve skills needed at the next level. We have 2 hands tied behind our back: 1) STEM school with no easy road, and...

Current BBack Situation: What say you???

Edit: Without Mills, don't be surprised to see MJ at QB. We will need a threat up the middle and MJ is the strongest of our QB's.

Will Clemson be more aggressive than BC and Vanderbilt?

In a presser from Dabo (sorry, no link, bur it was in a post on one of the primary GT boards), he said a few times that they have to disrupt the line of scrimmage. I interpret that to mean they will look more like VT with pre-snap movement and crashing the gaps. I hope we have a counter move...

    The facts as I see'em

I don't know how a person can be frugal AND have a boat. The maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs of a boat are more likely than the actual tickets to be the reason you think tickets are too expensive. Tech ticket prices are very reasonable cosidering the frequent number of times you...

    Bobby Dodd Experience Improvements

It was due to coaches passing through. Would have been nice if they would have told us while we waited.
