    Georgia Tech Football Ticket Exchange

Rather than let these tickets go unused, I would rather give them to another GT fan. If interested, contact me and I will email the tickets to you.

    Upcharge?

I agree. The focus early and throughout was on Miami (Miami history, Miami looks good early, poor Miami, Miami has lost 4 in a row, blah, blah, blah).

    GT v Tarholes Post Game

It looked to me like the defender swiped and hit the ball. Lynch had to reset before diving for the score.

No one out for VT, TM will start

FWIW - I agree with much of what you said. If the money disparity is large (and it is), wouldn't it be helpful to have a coach trying to sell us on the program while we work to reduce the money gap instead of a coach that pours vinegar on everyone in the media? Dabo wasn't immediately...

Still better than CPJ, IMHO. As I said, the difference is not by a wide margin.

No one out for VT, TM will start

If I understand you correctly, you feel that all fans concerned about CPJ's demeanor should, apparently, STFU because only money affects recruiting, media coverage, fan attitudes toward the team, season ticket sales, and more. Is that what you are saying?

You seem to miss the point. Does Dabo affect the perception of Clemson football? Money is clearly a factor and so is the coach.

No one out for VT, TM will start

This falls far short of having a positive impact on recruiting and fundraising. No reason, and no excuse for pissing on reporters You mean like Dabo- the guy who exudes positive messages, finds the good in his players, and has his team playing at a high level? Keep believing the coach does...

Saban vs Johnson: Saban is more positive, in my opinion. Not by a wide margin, though.

    Athletic Director's Update

She graduated 12/2008. She had a few football players in her classes (e.g., Gary Guyton, Taylor Bennett). I don't believe they had any issues with the classwork.

    Athletic Director's Update

My daughter was in the Ivan Allen College, which I assume is the "liberal arts" major you refer to. She took Survey of Calculus: a single course less rigorous than Management majors take. My son was a Management Major, and his calculus was more challenging and there was probably more than one...

    Carpenter (nothing to worry about)

It would be interesting to poll recruits that we offered but went elsewhere: was it the academic difficulty, the offense, or something else? Anyone close to the recruiting process or contact with recruits that can share any insights?

    Paul Johnson time frame.

    I would be more tolerant.

    Carpenter (nothing to worry about)

Sorry for the hijack. I like Carpenter, too. Hard hitter and usually somewhere near the ball carrier. #40 (Oliver?) has also impressed me. As long as we are giving kudos, I also thought #3 had a good game Saturday.

    Carpenter (nothing to worry about)

My opinion would be that academics are easier to overcome. Consider QB's from around the ACC (and USF) and whether they could succeed at GT. I believe many would do well. As stated earlier in the thread, we only need a few more 4-star recruits to make a difference. With the right scheme, you...

    Carpenter (nothing to worry about)

Thank you Good post. My questions would be 1. Can you overcome academics to improve recruiting? 2. Can you overcome our option scheme to improve recruiting? 3. Which would be easier?

    Clemson postgame

I think our SA's are bright kids that see themselves first as good people, and a killer instinct comes in somewhere around 4th on their list. Killer instinct is found in boxing or MMA, and in SA's who see themselves first as powerful athletes that want to impose their will on the opponent. For...

    Clemson postgame

    - Agreed. Add that to my list of issues. Were we afraid to Pass? We have short passes in our playbook. To not try is puzzling.

    Clemson postgame

I was not happy with the lack of urgency when we were down 3 scores in the second half. - we were taking 30 seconds off the play clock. - we ran BB up the middle - sending every play in via AB and not having 2 plays called to help save clock time I can't imagine ANY team doing these...
