MyGrandfather (class of 23) sent my dad to Tech in 41 but he inlisted after Pearl Harbor and was sent to Bradley University for officer training. Later, my Two Aunts refused to go to Agnes Scott and ended up in Athens. All of the Grand Kids started going to this game in 55 and continued the...
I think we have had no problem identifying them but signing them has been the issue. Nick Marshall was a hot item and the Mitchell kid that ended up at Arkansas both would have been great in this offense. My hope is that JTs play will help kids with similar skill visualize being in his shoes (on...
I believe the difference has been the ability of our qb to convert on 3rd and long (8 yards or longer) after penalties. Would love to see someone investigate .
Once again thanks for telling me what I must believe. I don't. I do believe you have a bumble bee up your. $&@"; when it comes to Paul . Sorry you can't overcome the hate to enjoy what is going on.
I'm not Paul. I can and did use it. I always love it when someone tells me what I can't do! He has a valid point concerning how a service rates one player as the #21 guard prospect and there is no way of knowing the difference from #35 . Always love his thoughts on the experts that have never...
Mark me down as one that will be smiles even if we lose our last two games. I just will not want to talk about those games for a few days. It is remarkable that we are where we are with an average 55 ranking in recruiting. On paper we should get drilled and should have 2 or 3 more losses...
The best part of this is a positive trend on our recruiting front. I have always felt that if that number was 20 spots better (34) we would give both teams a lot of trouble. It is great to be a yellow jacket!
headed to alabama today to see relatives. I have no problem with Ala fball love as long as no one brings a gun or poison for my trees. I understand the size point but fully understand that a guy 5feet 9inch and runs a 4.2 forty might be better than a guy who is 6feet 2inches and runs 4.65 . That...
Rick
Rick James was a hell of a ball player! Feed him the ball. Joking aside, how can you question anything about this offense. What I enjoy is seeing these guys buying in and not being upset with 5 touches a game. Great team chemistry.
I find myself waiting on your review every week. Thanks so much. It is crazy that we kept the ball nearly 41 minutes. Just think if the two interceptions had been completions in the endzone, we could have lost with 40 minutes of offense. As you say, we should be very thankful for freshman qb...
I think this was all about pj taking advantage of a players skill set not about helping someone. This kid was talented! I would love to see us do those things but you can't if you can't run your base offense. JT may do some of those things in year 2 and 3 . Who knows.
I wanted vad to be the man. He just wasn't a fit in our offense. He is a smart guy. He would not have finished his career here as the starter . It was a good move for he and GT. Wish him the best always.
Your concerns are very real. My feelings about the D has not changed. We are what we are. I do believe we are getting better each week but for us to be successful we will have to play keep away from every team we play. I know PJ feels this way. We just beat a team with 21 four and 4 five...
Honesty will set you free. I find no issue with what he said. I like JT alot. I see things that concern me. The D front is a big concern and the team is very young. For me to buy stock I would have to feel that our roster is more talanted than the teams we play. It is not. That being said...
