    GT Injury report

We're 5-0 in games where I have felt good afterwards, 0-1 in games where I haven't. Coincidence?

Halfway Through The Regular Season: What Do We Know?

When we're well focused and playing for each other as a team, we are a pretty darn good ball club. When we have something other than the game on our minds, we simply aren't very good.

That sums it up very well. We are capable of much better as proven against Miami.

    Game Ball to...

Another complete team win. A number of players should get lots of credit on both sides of the ball. Game ball to Laskey.

    Animated CPJ in Player's Faces...

Yep. I can visualize CPJ telling him that he is capable of much better than that and right now is the time to show it.

    Just Sayin....4-0

This team could easily become one of my ten favorite Tech teams, dating back to the mid-fifties, and that is simply because there is no "quit" on this team. They keep coming back at you and doing what they need to do to win. Thomas, Smelter, and Laskey are capable of putting up some big numbers...

    "It's us against the world"

I'm with you on this, 33. How anyone responds to criticism is a test of their character. I believe our guys have as much or more character than any team. To come storming back and win after the licking they took in most of the second half speaks to tons of character. There is no "quit" on this team.

    Kenderius Whitehead practice clips

lol. ^ I remember when a player left early for the draft and O'Leary told him that the only way he would get into the pros is to buy a game ticket.

Great read--GS fan pays tribute to GT grad uncle

Stonewall, your grandfather is not robbed of his identity as long as you cherish your memory of him. My mom and mother-in-law had Alzheimer's. I don't choose to remember the awful disease or its effect; I choose to cherish the wonderful memories that I have of them.

    CPJ

^Nail, hammer, head. I remember when Dodd graduated about 25 seniors off his great 1956-57 team, but had enjoyed great recruiting. Nevertheless, the sophs (freshmen were not eligible to play) of the 1957-58 team showed the youth that generally cancelled their talent.

    Introduce yourself

Well Mack, perhaps my old age is to blame for what appears to be complacency. I have given the matter much thought over the years, especially because I selected GA Tech in 1955 based on (1) the great football team and (2) the kind of work (tinkering with electronics) that I enjoyed doing at the...

    Introduce yourself

Amen, brother. Here we are 3 and 0, but to hear some fans you would think we were 0 and 3. Perhaps one reason that Tech fans are so demanding is that much was demanded of them while at Tech. Of course, that is good in the long run and is a primary reason why Tech people and the Tech...

    Introduce yourself

Welcome aboard from an old timer who remembers O'Leary, Ross, and Dodd very well. Hindsight is supposed to be 20-20, but don't allow yourself to be too taken with the good old days. Dodd got out of coaching at a real good time for him; O'Leary essentially positioned us in a tough academic...
