Great. I have the game on TVO but have yet to watch it - didn't realize Perkins played. I couldn't watch the game live as we were at the UF-USC game (wife's a gator) and I have been waiting to watch the replay of the game until this weekend when my son will be working - he is a Clemson grad :)
I thought the same. There were several times he could have cut back and stayed in bounds but chose not to. That's ok, he is making solid decisions - including not taking unnecessary hits.
I was at the game and didn't think he would be back this year let alone in 4 days - although just because he is practicing doesn't mean he'll play this weekend - but it's certainly wonderful news.
I am actually coming in to see the game from Charleston and not really looking forward to cold wind - now forecast at 25 plus mph. But I think it should favor GT. As far as the varsity, I would advise post game as it can be a bit rough on the digestive tract if you are not used to it
I think what made Pitt look slow was the speed with the option execution. The opposing defenses do not have that extra second that we gave them last year to make decisions and determine where the ball is heading. We also have the speed to make them pay for hesitating.
GT Notre Dame 1976 - my freshman year. We beat them without completing a pass - not sure we even attempted one. I remember dancing in front of the GT cheerleaders after the game. Amazing I can remember anything after how much rum consumed - I know should have been whiskey. Speaking of the GT...
