Alexander - think it will be impossible to keep Vic off the field this fall - just like PJ played his way past redshirting - except Vic appears to already be at a level similar to where PJ is now. The thought of both of them on the field at one time - scary!
Dark horse candidate - Willis. Remember seeing him in for mop up duties in a game (Pitt?) and wondering who was #45. His first few carries were so so but the next couple showed surprising speed and power.
Did anyone else question whether this was a forward pass? Have rewatched several times and am still not sure. If it was it makes up for the bogus progress stopped fumble somewhat.
the wet field probably had an impact on the way it was kicked. The best way is to pound the ball down into a hard ground and have it bounce up high - negating the fair catch possibility and giving guys time to jump/scrum for the ball.
It's even better in my neighborhood - there is an empty flag pole where a dwag flag had been flying for months. They took it down sometime Sunday morning :)
I have an image in my mind of pretty boy Jameis in a rain coat huddled by a heater on the sideline while the muddy Jacket OL trench warriors grind out repeated death marches.
Truly a sucker punch - DeAndre was a big reason for the season's success. I don't believe it was intentional - just hate the way it happened. I would say DeAndre was one of three players who will be the hardest to replace. JeT and Shaq being the other two. Like to see Ricky J get a look this...
Eric,
is it possible to read a positive into the report that since Deandre is not ruled out definitely that the injury may not require surgery so that he may possibly be available for a bowl game(s) ?
