    Greece Vote

My NSHO: There's austerity and there's austerity. Regardless of the profligacy (sp) that got the Greeks where they are (from which the Germans benefited, though that's beside the point of my argument), that's where they are now. Imagine you are a householder who has gotten way way way in over...

    BDS Re-sodding

This. I am NO gardener but my understanding is that bermuda is tight, resilient and springy in part because it quickly forms a tighter, thicker network of roots close to the surface than other grasses. Those who work on their lawns harder than I do :) please correct if wrong.

    2015 Schedule Musings

8-3 vs. the rest of the vaunted Ess Eee Cee. Very interesting indeed. :) That's interesting @Wrecking Ball . Thanks for posting.

    S&C Work With Coach Sowders

@jwsavhGT , thanks for posting those. All I gotta say is anyone who thinks college football players are lazy, fat and stupid should just take a good, hard look at what they actually have to do, learn, and execute.

See how much your university gets from Nike, Adidas or Under Armour (2014 Database)

This ^^^, this, this 100%. Plus I say more money from a more attractive brand. I don't hate Russell as badly as some do. I DO want to see our program get the best deal it can.

See how much your university gets from Nike, Adidas or Under Armour (2014 Database)

I'm really surprised the turkeys and Dabo are so low. I think both those programs should be able to command more from Nike (well, Clemson at least).

    Harbaugh to Michigan?

Surprise, maybe not. Disappoint, revolt .... yeah. I'll consider myself a Michigan State fan.

    Harbaugh to Michigan?

If true, just ... ugh. :(

    @DrJacket , many thanks.

    Save Travel

I give these kids my greatest thanks, and they have my greatest admiration. I am no traveler, and while I do not require my own private jet or require the Hilton when I do travel, I do like things like hot showers and flush toilets. Toilet paper and hot coffee are also kinda required. For...

    Harrell Transferring to Florida

This makes eminently good sense. What doesn't make any sense to me is that I know offhand of no history Anthony had of having problems. I thought you got three strikes, though ideally none are needed? What I thought was: 1. Anthony graduates, having begun the UF application process; 2. He...

    Players report tomorrow

This 100%. I don't know TaQuon personally, but from everything I have heard and read, he's a trip. Funny, personable, an outspoken motivator of himself and those around him. One of my favorites in this class.

    Players report tomorrow

Being female, the fact that I didn't get it puts me pretty much in @jwsavhGT 's camp. ;) @LibertyTurns , thank you for the clarification, though. Dunno about "under her wing", though ... maybe "peck their eyes out" and make a better woman out of 'em. ;)

    Players report tomorrow

I don't understand your first remark? (Without starting any potentially political or sexist discussion; not meaning to.) The rest, agreed 100%.

    Players report tomorrow

Nathan, after your first set of midterms you will probably tweet something completely different. ;) We will all understand and stand behind you 100%!!!

    UNC

This is true, but the probationary period can be extended. UNC will have to provide a detailed plan of action, and show, using detailed feedback metrics, how that plan is progressing at specified intervals (6 mos. IIRC). The probationary period can be shortened or lengthened on the basis of...

    UNC

Skeptic above has hit all the salient points better than I could. The main thing in many people's minds is that when a school loses accreditation, there is technically no longer any certification from an independent, objective outside agency that the degree is in fact actually...
