Chadwell isn’t my top option but no denying he’s a great coach and I have to think he would upgrade coaches if he jumped to GT. Obviously keep Korn and a lot of the offensive staff but he would probably upgrade the D. Regardless, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him beat UVA with lesser talent...

I’m not saying it can’t be done but it’s a lot easier to make the NFL if he’s in the P5 and Deion even admitted that during one of his interviews.

I would think he would want to get the P5 opportunity ASAP to progress his coaching career and also bring his son with him to get more recognition. It will be hard for his son to make the NFL at JSU, so I would think Deion would look to jump to P5 this year for that reason alone.

Not doubting you but Im still struggling to understand why Deion isnt at least being considered. It seems like we should at least interview him unless he is the one saying that he has no interest. Also, did she mention anyone that is being considered?

Key never had the job and anyone that thinks he did is delusional. We fired Collins and Stansbury to clean house and start fresh. Key would’ve had to do something spectacular to win the job (like beat UGA or win the coastal) and that was never going to happen.

Even without Collins the results look to be eerily similar. Maybe Key will surprise us but we have not looked good on offense even since he took over. Defense improved due to Collins leaving but Key is getting too much hype. Hope I’m wrong but I see this playing out very similar to last year...

Still a long way to go but the results so far are eerily similar: 1. Comfortable win against an FCS team 2. Upset a top 25 team that ends up not actually being very good (UNC in 2021 and Pitt this year) 3. Close win against Duke 4. Sims gets hurt and the season falls apart

At this point idgaf if Sims every plays again at GT. He has never played 2 complete games back to back, hasnt shown any major development, and doesn't win games. Just finish the season and start fresh next year. The new coach can bring in a transfer.
