you're absolutely right. But I believe the programs who know how to evaluate talent often end up with the best kids...

The only issue I take with this is I believe the coaches never look at these kids' star rankings. They see really good football players. The recruiting services then attach the appropriate star value on the kid so when the kid blows up in college they can say "we were all in on these kids...

I remember CCK being a pretty stout recruiter when he was here. I'd love to see him come in and work with special teams. Maybe give him a title like "blitz package consultant" or something. Let him rove as needed on the coaching staff.

Ayn Rand died bitter and alone. Chan Gailey won't. I never had a problem with Gailey the man. His inability to adjust his mindset to the college game frustrated me, but I thought he handled his tenure here with dignity and class.

Who cares. It's not CPJ's job to put players in the NFL. It's his job to win college football games. Now, I don't think he's done this with enough regularity, but putting players in the league isn't his job.

This isn't any more true now than the first however many times you said it. We absolutely need to complete more of the pass plays we call. We don't need to call more pass plays. Big difference.

Yep. Better things to do than explain why a bad coach is bad. Mike Sewak has been a problem for a while. Everyone I know who's opinion I trust on football sees it. If you don't, so be it.
