Good Coach? He had one decent year at USC. And that was with Pete Carroll's players (when he was getting #1 at basically every position).

Seems closer to Bill Lewis than Vince Lombardi. Couldn't win with his dad calling a defense (one of the best in the game).

He may have matured, but it doesn't look like it. He's on Twitter pre-game and not focused on getting his team ready.

He’s immature, brash and full of himself. USC was on probation when he took that program over. Like running into a burning building.

He’s an offensive genius. But he’s a frat boy on the prowl. He tapped everything worth tapping in Knoxville and then some. Totally wrong for GT. But the guy has swagger.

Quick question...Is CPJ a Hall of Fame coach? He sitting at 182 wins (75 at GA Tech); 2 National Championships in 1-AA and a truck load of Coach of the Year awards. I believe he is with out a doubt, and therefore can coach as long as he wants. But when he steps down, keep in mind that we will have to replace a HOF coach. Do we swing for the fences ala South Carolina replacing Holtz with Spurrier or do we lick wounds with a lesser name, lesser values based coach? A person from the CPJ coaching tree makes the mos sense. And people relax, he’s going to be on the Flats well after he passes 200 wins total and 100 at Tech. Only thing we got to worry is where the statue will be placed.

Not really trolling because I dont know that it has happened. Friend has told me it's in process.

U Google it Kiffin change faith
Well, I did. (And the only thing I have a real problem with him about -- bolting Tennessee is what coaches do; wave cash at them and they'll give 20 minutes notice, to the secretary on the way to the parking spot -- is his sideline conduct when we played USC in the Sun Bowl. It is not that he made a fool of himself. It is that he had no interest in the game at all, and I thought that disrespectful to everybody, but particularly to his opponent, GT. That ticked me because it allowed him to alibi his way out of a loss: "I just wasn't into it" or some such and it was insulting. It still offends me. The rest of his baggage I don't keep up with.) But as to the other, I think such a professed conversion is better viewed five years down the road. As my mother once told me, if a man has to say he is, he ain't. Let it ripen a bit.

Except he's not 100% wrong for us.

He's not 100% wrong for GT...but he's not 100% right for GT either. I like Kiffin as an offensive mind, and I really like how he's progressive in terms of incorporating different offensive philosophies, but I think the larger picture with Kiffin would not sit well with the GT brand.
