Way too Early 2023 Predictions

Baby steps. We need to recruit a lot of studs, especially on the offensive line and on all of the defensive personnel.

We still do not have enough studs (4 and 5 star recruits) throughout the entire roster. Need to forget about — and discard — “GT’s traditional academic entrance requirements” and go get as many studs as possible through the door.

If you can’t beat them, join them! Cheat as well as the best of them.

Head Coach Brent Key has assembled an excellent staff. On paper, the staff should be good enough to coach the current collection of players to pull off at least one or two upsets against favored teams, but not against the top ones. In the neighborhood of 5-7 or 6-6, but no more.

Recruiting, hopefully, will be much better after the season. Build up, build up, build up with more solid studs for the future.

Build the team up with a lot of studs to win a lot of games, and the fans will come.

We now have the AD to do it.

That is the foundation.

Something in my gut says we lose that one. I hope I'm wrong.
Only thing I think that concerns me with wake is they’re well coach and run a different style of offense that we’re use to seeing. Kinda like us in the Paul era. We need to be disciplined defensively. The one thing that helps us is it’s early and they don’t have a potential Heisman QB running the offense anymore. This is a swing game for us. Win, and we could legit be 4-1 heading into October and possibly ranked.
Wake, because if offensive style and how well coached they are, does concern me a little more than Louisville who will be adjusting to a new HC and staff.
We also looked better on the road last year as well.

7-5 and 5-3 in the ACC. Losing to UVA in Charlottesville is a tradition lol. If there is a way we are 4-1 going into Miami and beat Miami we will likely be ranked going into the bye. But I think 4-1 is the absolute best and 2-3 is the worst going into Miami. We can't leave Miami 2-4 if we want a bowl game.

Your list of W totals 7 includes a W against UGA
Can u trade a unc L for a Uga win. Thats my dream season that is actually possible. Start w a WTF L at Benz - murmuring starts.

3-2 going to Miami and get heart breaking L.

More murmuring as we return home.
Like 2014 Coach K makes an adjustment and we go on a streak of high scoring and solid defense t. WE Kick tail w BC, UNC, UVA, and Syracuse.

Play tough against Clemson and Uga but Get 2L

We are 7-5.

MURMING STOPS.

2023 we reclaim BDS as our damn house.

9-3 with big wins @clemson and @wake. Ole miss will be tough and the dwags are still world beater. But we are looking at a really good first year.

Miami is falling apart with cristobal
Virginia is also falling apart with Elliot
BC is bad
Louisville will also be breaking in a new head coach, so it’s a very winnable game for us.
I’m not sure if Cuse will maintain their success from last year, but because it’s home I’ll take us.

Beating UL is gonna be a huge shot in the arm for this team and program if we can do it- win that one and we are setup nicely to build momentum and have a nice season

So I see lots of folks selecting different win and loss games but getting to about the same W - L 7-5. I got 7-5 too.

Looks like we started at 7-5 and worked backwards. I picked an L at the Benz so i will be right longer than most.

Others that pick Uga W are also hoping to look better longer too.

Just glad gt footbalk is not viewed as incompetent.
