Alright, gotta get some work done. UVA's pitcher's pitch count by inning is 10, 15, 20. So maybe he's vulnerable now. We just had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out. Wade Bailey and Chase Murray of all people both struck out. Nothing doing.

Runners on 1st and 3rd with NO outs with Wilhite up and we don’t bunt? Instead, we hit into a double play and then Hall strikeouts to end the inning. Unbelievable

Man. We just look like butt on the road. We are up to 10 strikeouts after only 5 innings. Chase Murray, the ACCs leading batter, has struck out 3 times. Sad.

Our LH hitters have zero chance vs this kid tonight. The ump isn’t helping us any with a few of his generous strike calls for UVA.

Something good just happened in B5. Bullpen shut door. Winborne gets SAC bunt pop up & Hurter with bases loaded & the 1 out.... pop up to SS & comebacker to pitcher to end inning.

Now... get to this UVA starter who's pitch count is rising.

Too bad the guy batting ahead of him had 4Ks. Bart led off inning in 3 of his 4 plate appearances...not the best formula for that power. Credit to UVA's lefty arms. Had our LH hitters looking pretty lost.

The road woes are officially terminal. 3-12 on road. Never won a conference road series...0 for 5. Can still be 5 for 5 in homes series, though. That would be some strange trivia one day.

1) It didn't go to extra innings.
2) Tristan will be back next year.
3) Soon we will be able to legally bet on GT sports; but baseball will be over.

Murray looked a lot like me batting last night. I turned off after 8 innings, but he had 4 Ks without ever making contact, in fact he never came close to making contact. Our clutch hitting was absent as it has been all year.The ACC and NCAA are all about money and are ruining sports. That game should have never been scheduled for Monday night, it was unfair for the visiting team.

Just out of curiosity, why was it any more unfair for the visiting team? Because of the travel involved? (My guess is 99% of college baseball programs would kill for the publicity.)

Staying in a motel an extra day just to be on TV has got to be boring. The home team just goes about their usual routine.
