Sorry for taking you out of context. The thought of the mutt beating us is nauseating. The young kids can win this series. Not only can they but given mutt’s easy schedule to date I’m not sure they’ve been challenged. Time for a good old GT beatdown so we can stop talking about how good they supposedly are.

Baseball is a crazy game. We went 2-1 on the road last year against a top Louisville team, but went 2-1 at home against numerous meh teams. It’s hard to sweep anybody. That’s why we shouldn’t really think about a 3-0 or 0-3. Gotta win 1 to avoid total disaster. 1-2 would be decent, 2-1 awesome. Such a small difference really. I’m thinking kind of like when we played UCLA early last year. I want us to play good baseball, like we did last year. Even though we didn’t win the series, we came out of it very optimistic for the season. I hope we win, but I’m more interested to see how we play and how CDH coaches.

Well said. After Sunday, we could be looking at 1-2 & thanking our stars we were not swept or at 2-1 kicking ourselves for not closing the sweep. The "before" discussion is completely different than the "after" discussion. It really does (for me) come down to how we look doing whatever it is we do. Assuming we play to the potential, winning the series is legitimately in play. UGA .... besides just being the worst in all of college athletics... is an elite baseball team. They have a vote in this. No matter how well Ga Tech performs, it may be made difficult by the opposition.

Let's get this going, though! To HELL WITH GEORGIA!!

This streaming thing gets complicated. I expect to be able to stream today's game via the ESPN App on the SEC Network+ channel.... which appears to fall in same category as the ACC Network Extra. ...not same as ESPN+ LOL!

Edit.. not suggesting it is on the ACC Network Extra channel. It is on SEC Network+.

I was kinda hacked off when I first found out our 3 games with the Mutts would be played as a weekend series this year, but now I like the idea - Hate Weekend!

Wish it was a bit later in the season so the weather would be better, though.

Yea I prefer a regular series approach. I want to see how we match up against them in a normal Fri/Sat/Sun rotation as opposed to whoever the mid-week person for each might be.

Stand aren’t even half full there. Surprising their fans aren’t coming out for this?

Their feed blows on espn too. There doesn’t seem to be a mic aimed at home plate because you can’t hear much of a ping on contact. Hughes threw 3 or 4 pitches in the 1st that looked like Ks at first glance because you couldn’t hear contact on the foul tip.

Man 9 hits to 4, we should be winning, but down 1. Pretty darn good game honestly. Would love to steal one!
