Actually, we "borrowed" "Up With the White and Gold" from Cal after the 01/01/1929 Rose Bowl. "The Old Farm" is a reference to Stanford's campus. Also, the reference to UGA and colors and mascot change each week to reflect our current opponent.

It would appear that over the years, during orientation, the new students and/or the leaders have paid less and less attention to details. Also, the lyrics to "Go Georgia Tech!" has zero reference to any beer. About 30 years ago, the NCAA, during "March Madness", took umbrage with our band playing a beer jingle and the response was "Go Georgia Tech!". "When you say, 'Buzz is wiser ... you've said it all!' "

Saw in a uga forum that Dylan Ross (SP) is injured and not playing this weekend. He was their Saturday guy opening weekend but doesn’t look like he’s played since.

“Cannon on Friday, Sully on Saturday, and Brown/Wagner/staff game Sunday”
Wow, their Friday night starter has been virtually unhittable this year, albeit through 2 starts. 14.1 IP, 5 hits, 0 BB, miniscule 0.35 WHIP (although, just for Nuke, he does have 2 HBP) and an opponent batting average of .109.

Hopefully we can shake that up.

What a great slide by Parada in the 7th. Not pretty but he avoided the tag that beat him by a mile. Looking good headed to the 8th. Hope I didn’t jinx it. Guessing Huff is done, great outing by him, and battled to get out of the 7th
