Honestly if someone offered me $1M I'm not sure how much my integrity held up. No idea what the number is I'm just throwing something out there. This era of CFB is wild.

This. College football is a business now. If anything, Singleton's dad erred by talking about loyalty on social media, but it's hard for a player and their family to turn down that much money that can set him up for a good while. If Singleton got that much money, and GT can't even get in the same ballpark, then I don't blame him at all for taking that money. His talent is his leverage, and that ends if he gets hurt.

This is where we are. College football fans just need to accept it, because you'll be constantly disappointed if you don't.

I can accept the NIL if it's really for name, image and likeness. I'm all for that. But it's already degenerated into just paying for players. It's pro football. But like you say, it's like it or lump it.
