Ok. So, he could be wrong without me asserting he is a liar.
I didn't say you said he was a liar. He could definitely be wrong. I just don't think he is. The timing doesn't make me feel it's more likely we retain the interim, at all, imho.

No, it's not.Seems highly likely he's not staying as DC, so it's a moot point imho. I mean, yall can keep arguing tho. It's mildly entertaining .. I guess.
Waits for the other Co-DC to be fired? What do you think a Co-DC does?
It doesn’t mean he shared the DC duties. Sherrer was a highly paid LB coach. It’s a title that doesn’t mean much
According to Kelly and Russell, it's just a way to pay the coach more. What do you think a Co-DC does?

The portal closes for players going into the portal, not for those coming out. Any stud already in the portal can choose to come out any time they like. Grad Transfers can go in any time, no restriction. The portal closes in 3 days. Who are these studs on defense coming in?
Yea they must be in the Portal by 2 Jan 2024. They can join a team anytime after entering the Portal.I think players get until either January 3rd or a week(?) after their bowl game. I don’t think we’ll get a lot of NY6 players, though
From what Kelly and Russell said, there have been no in-person interviews, so there's no way for the media to know unless CBK or his secretary tells them.Just my interpretation of the article
Key sees his team every day. He hasn’t been shy about making a move.
We interviewed a lot of outside candidates before landing on Key. Maybe we do the same with Sherrer.
This has been really quiet. There’s nothing in the local paper about interviews. It’s really unusual from my perspective

Paul Maola still has 1 year of eligibility left. He chose to enter the NFL draft instead of coming back for another year. Scaglione is done.A couple of thoughts here:
I don't see us bringing in a bunch of stud defenders. I do see us getting some players who have a great chance to be in our starting lineup come next fall on defense and I'd speculate that a number of those would be guys with one year of eligibility left. Similar to Paul Moala and Connor Scaglione.
- Between now and the portal closing we'll continue to see players from teams who are no longer playing enter the portal so it's possible you might see some more UGA players, for example, enter as the portal closes the day after the Jan 1 bowl games. However, you should not infer that I'm suggesting there will be a huge influx of defensive studs entering. Just that there are probably still going to be a few meaningful entrants over the next few days.
- This is only my opinion but I do think that of the guys who have not committed yet (I mean ones that most would consider worth having) a significant chunk are waiting to see who leaves and what shakes out at the schools they are interested in. I'll bet that some are being told that school X isn't sure they'll have a spot because they are targeting another player but if they don't get that player than they will have a spot and some will wait. I also think some will see an opportunity to take a semester off from school and then see what shakes out in spring practices, who leaves which schools and then some schools will be desperate to fill slots (if this sounds a little like how free agency in the NFL goes then yeah, that's not accidental).
We have to wait for spring when the rest of ours leave....then on the last day we will rummage around and hope to find enough to field a DThe portal closes in 3 days. Who are these studs on defense coming in?
oh,we will field a D.The question is if it will be any better than this yr.At this point -probably not much.We have to wait for spring when the rest of ours leave....then on the last day we will rummage around and hope to find enough to field a D
We'll just have to "outscore them" PJ styleoh,we will field a D.The question is if it will be any better than this yr.At this point -probably not much.
Are you sure? Honest question. I look at his stats and I see him playing in six seasons. For sure one of those is a redshirt. And one is the COVID year, right? So how does he have a seventh year?Paul Maola still has 1 year of eligibility left. He chose to enter the NFL draft instead of coming back for another year. Scaglione is done.
You don’t go into coaching without an understanding of how it can impact your family. There was an article in the AJC after Sherrer took over. He talked about how his responsibilities and workload changed, and how hard it was on his family. It made me wonder if he wants to be a full time DC.
Also didn’t realize he had 0 Carries since he had 2 vs UNC. Anyone know what happened to him?Feels like he’s gonna leave soon with no GT mentions in his profile, a trust nobody header, and now this View attachment 15448View attachment 15449
Early Fumble concerns along and seemingly lack of production in my eyes. He had alot of indecision in his running IMO which would lead to no gains or losses. Smith came on and just provide prefect spark along Haynes and King. Also didn’t realize he had 0 Carries since he had 2 vs UNC. Anyone know what happened to him?

I do not have anything against him...but we do have pretty good options at RB so if he wants to try something else then it is what it isNot sure he ever deserved as many carries as he got in the first place.
