Not as big an event as u describe, but I have joined twitter and I am following At Coach Collins.
(This social media stuff seems to be more than a fad. ).

Recruiting … a quick look:
  • On the morning of the first official day of recruiting … Collins and Company didn't even wait to the next morning. They were at recruit Cornelius Evans' house at 12:01am, one minute past midnight with an offer!
  • Staff is going after Jamious Griffin. Who is Jamious? How about the Gatorade Player of the Year for the entire state of Georgia. How about a USA Today All American----'that's 1st Team by the way;). How about the #15 running back in the entire country. How about the guy who broke some guy name Hershel's state record for touchdowns (22 in only 8 games) back in October with 11.3 yards per carry. Even though Jamious has said he's firmly committed to NC State. Don't be shocked if he ends up here. (By the way, NC State fans are pissed off and are really dishing GT) And also, by the way, Jamious' brother is JaQuon Griffin, current Georgia Tech football player.
  • All American and Clemson commit Paul Tchio (huge OL) has posted that he is blessed to have received an offer from GT. Tchio played on the same Georgia State Championship as GT quarterback commit Jordan Yates. Brent Key may also know and have recruited him. So at least we're out there going after it.
  • Big time Alabama commit cb Javier Morton. A player who UGA tried to "flip" to them earlier in the season. And Morton is saying he's going to shock the Nation and is posting all kinds of Georgia Tech stuff including pictures of GT Football, Calvin Johnson, Tachard Choice and Coach Geoff Collins.

Pretty good for a first day.

Not looking for any miracles this year with late start. Next year will tell , but no matter what no one can say CGC and staff don't work hard.
